Dave Arntson holds a degree in photojournalism and nearly 20 years of experience as a press and commercial photographer. He has been a photojournalist at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead and at the The Northwestern of Oshkosh, Wis., where he covered daily news and sports. He also teaches photography courses at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
He is an award-winning member of the National Press Photographers Association, North Dakota Newspaper Association, Minnesotate Newspaper Association and Wisconsin Newspaper Association.
He also owns and operates Milestones Photography which specializes in wedding photojournalism and portraiture.
By March 28 the flood fight had mostly turned into a waiting game. Most dikes were built to the appropriate levels and were being patrolled. Warmer, sunny weather also brought out sightseers to the Main Avenue bridge.
